Lee Hasler

I’ve tried to develop a style of working that is technical yet playful, fun but thoughtful and I strive to inject charm and personality, into an ever expanding world of virtual buttons and plastic facades

I'm a UK based illustrator working from the flatlands of the Cambridgeshire countryside via the smog of North London. I live with my illustrator wife and our son Jimmy, oh and Alf. He's a cat.

I’m rather inspired by 1950’s / 60’s advertising characters, dirt cheap sci-fi, lo-fi monsters, Time Bandits, Brazil, Planet of the Apes, Dune, David Lynch, Lego, Playmobil, Airfix, The Music Machine, European Prog Rock, Bowie, Reed & Pop, Brian Eno, Library Music, Charles Burns, Brian Bolland, Geof Darrow, Gil Elvgren, Boris Artzybasheff, Hiroshige and Hieronymus Bosch.
